Text

• easy to read
• boldfaced
• readable font
• appropriate size
• clear color and style
• four or less brief sentences or bullets on each slide
• spellcheck
• proper punctuation.
• no "hanging words" (i.e. a centered line with one word on the next line)
• text transitions are consistent throughout the show.

Graphics

• appropriate to the slide
• clear, not blurry
• proportionally sized (do not look stretched out)
• enhance the text on the slide
• limited use of clip art, relied on photographs throughout.

Transitions and Background Color

• background enhances each slide.
• consistency to each background (same color range)
• limited to a few select transitions for all slides
• transitions occur quickly
• titles appear first before text and graphics

Slide Show

• links connect correctly
• beginning, middle and end
• information is clear, easy to understand
• notecards expand on information included in the show
• contains all the information needed to entice others to travel to your destination
