Resources Needed
This WebQuest can be taught by one teacher during an 8th grade course.
Below is a list of
materials that will be necessary to successfully implement this WebQuest.
- One computer
system per student
- Internet
access on all computers
- File containing
hard copies of advertising examples (flyers, brochures, catalog ads,
letterhead, etc.)
- Television
and VCR for reviewing commercials/infomercials
- Video Camera
with microphone for creating television ads
- The following
software (or something comparable in capabilities): MS Word, MS Publisher,
MS PowerPoint, HyperStudio or Paint, Adobe PageMill or other Web Editor.
